Pictures: Tribute to the Jacksons
Last month was Downetowne’s Tribute to the Jacksons and looking back now, the timing is a little eerie. Michael Jackson’s songs have always been catchy dance anthems, but every time we hear it in the future, there will probably be a sad undertone. His music was such a great way to get people on the dance floor and even more now, I can see people rushing to dance (or wiggle–if you can’t dance, like me) when his stuff plays now.
Ana’s Do Something Tonight was on hand shooting pics that night (she also performed later that night) and took some great flicks here.
To be honest, I didn’t take many pictures that night. I spent a lot of time enjoying the music (which I don’t always have time to do when I’m shooting) and appreciating the great vibe that night. Like I said, there’s something about Jackson’s music that gets people dancing (and even dancing with people they don’t know).

I know you can't see my face, but I figure most people will recognize me as the big cheeks behind the camera. My name is Kristel. This blog, much like my life, is a work in progress. I take pictures at events around town and I'm big on candid photos. Nice to meet you.
