Lady Laie Returns at the Haunted Lagoon!
October is one of my favorite months of the year. Why? Well, usually by now the weather has gotten cooler (with the exception of this year. It’s still damn humid) and Halloween is right around the corner. Last year, I went to PCC’s Haunted Lagoon, Blaisdell’s Shockhouse, and the Haunted Plantation, and this year I plan to do the same and also add a few more places to my list.
If you don’t mind the drive, I’d highly recommend checking out Polynesian Cultural Center’s Haunted Lagoon. This one didn’t make me scream and run (like the Haunted Plantation did), but I really thought the ride was well-executed. Lots to look at and definitely lots to scare you. The ride lasts about 25 minutes and it looks like this year they’re offering a fast-pass to bypass the line. I recommend that so you’re not waiting too long and having to make the long trek back to town too late.
You can purchase tickets at the PCC website and at the event, but I recommend stopping by any of these places to get your discounted tickets:
- 7-11, Price Busters, and 76 Gas station Promotion: Visit these locations and grab a $3 off coupon (Starting October 1st)
- Pepsi’s “Haunted Wednesdays” Promotions: Visit Times or Foodland, purchase any Pepsi product and recieve a special coupon good for $5 off your ticket price. (This special $5 offer is only applicable to Wednesday’s Haunted Lagoon tours.) (Offer starts October 7th

I know you can't see my face, but I figure most people will recognize me as the big cheeks behind the camera. My name is Kristel. This blog, much like my life, is a work in progress. I take pictures at events around town and I'm big on candid photos. Nice to meet you.
