Thankfully nobody was injured in the blaze, but still, this must be devastating for them. What’s with all the fires going on? Wasn’t I Love Country Cafe on fire just the other day?

An investigation is underway after fire broke out at Chiko’s Tavern on McCully Street. The blaze was first reported just before 2:30 this morning. Heavy smoke was seen coming out of the bar.
Fire officials say the blaze was contained to the lounge area. Chiko’s was closed at the time, so no one was injured. Damage is estimated at $150,000. There’s still no word on a cause.
