Support A Worthy Cause and Attend the Kahu Malama Award Dinner!

Gregory House Programs (Hawaii’s Statewide HIV/AIDS Housing Program) is hosting a really cool awards dinner on November 15th, 2008,  celebrating their 20th year anniversary and honoring Senator Daniel Akaka for his work. Check out the official press release here.

If you haven’t heard of Gregory House Programs, it’s a local organization providing one-time grants, short-term assistance, and long-term assistance to those with HIV/AIDS who are in financial need. They help over 200 families a month and what they do is really admirable.

All proceeds will go to the Gregory House Programs. If you can afford to go, please come. I should be on hand that night taking pictures of the festivities!

If you’d just like to donate a little bit of money (and can’t attend that night), go here to find out more information.
