Oktoberfest 2008!
Grab a tall beer and put on your lederhosen, Oktoberfest at the Ala Moana Hotel starts next week Tuesday! The event runs from Oct. 7-12 and promises to be an awesome opportunity to eat lots of delicious German food and get drunk beyond belief.
Food stations will serve bratwurst, sauerbraten, giant knackwurst, pig knuckles, sauerkraut, apple strudel, and Black Forest layer cake.
The festivities take place in the Hibiscus Ballroom 6 to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 5 to 11 p.m. Sunday. The official keg tapping ceremony takes place 6 p.m. Oct. 7.
Admission is $7 per person on weekdays and Sunday, and $12 on Friday and Saturday. Purchase tickets through the Ala Moana Hotel’s Concierge or at the door.
